The US Patent and Trademark Office has given the Friends group a trademark protection for the term "Wireless Wilderness."
We applied about a 2017 because we wanted to use this unique phrase to promote the appreciation of nature by making nature more accessible through the use of technology. Our Wireless Wilderness Cell Phone Tour is the first implementation of this idea.
